Air Daddy Floor Pump

The Air Daddy floor pump is another fine Wrench Force product that was sent to me. First of all, you just have to love the name. The pump itself is not lacking anything at all, this thing rocks, it could be called the daddy of floor pumps.

There are several things that I look at when buying a pump and the Air Daddy had all four of them.

  • Number one, does the nozzle head stay on the valve stem? The nozzle head actually stayed on the valve stem when airing up a tire, and it would do both presta valve and standard valve for airing up the kid’s bike tires.

  • The second thing is the gauge and how accurate is it? Well this one was right on the money, for the first week or reviewing and the last week I double-checked it with a few tire gauges, and it is accurate.

  • The third thing is speed …. Old Air Daddy rocked here.

  • The forth thing is comfort. With a nice metal footpad, and a rather large handle, when airing tires up to 150 psi or so, it wasn’t like you were killing yourself to do it.

  • The last is durability. OK, that was five. Even though we had tested this pump for “only” 4 months, it was holding up great and we foresaw not major issues down the road. I would see no problem using this pump for several years down the road.

This is definitely another fine product from the people at Wrench Force Cycling Products and Trek  bikes. More information can be found by visiting www.trekbikes.com or visiting you local Wrench Force Dealer.
