So I have been seeing a lot of folks on twitter talking about their Cleveland Marathon training, etc.
Seems like everyone is making a New Year's Resolution so I thought I would toss mine on here.
Today I ran the Summit Athletic Buckeye Half Marathon to test the waters for the Akron Marathon .... well
Ever have one of those days where anything will set you off ? Tonights run was the breaking point.
Finally a good week for training as we sit 11 weeks out from the Akron Marathon. Up this weekend the Napa to Sonoma 1/2 Marathon.
Well first off I realized that I was not going to post EVERY day ... that is just plain silly.
Today's long run went way better then expected. 15.25 miles and I was a happy camper. Followed that up by a day at the zoo. Talk about being tired!
Today starts 3 months out to the Akron Marathon. I have ran this race before and and have faded around sand run.
Today was a pretty big day with a little over 18 miles. Original plan was to run the Shamrock 15k then re-run the course for a long run day.
I made a little commitment tonight by registering for the Blue Ridge Marathon. I thought that might help jump start the Ironman "marathon portion" of my training.
Well if you live in Northeast Ohio chances are you have close to a foot of snow on the ground and everyone is complaining about it except for those at Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts. Well news flash people; it is winter and it will be here for a while.
Here is just a little list of Belgium Brews that I sent down to the folks in Texas to pick up for me. They have quite a few beer stores in Houston so I thought I would take advantage of it.
Ah the last week has been great .... fun training, no schedules but getting the job done everyday.
Usually I try and map out the week but this week I am saying screw it. Holiday, short week and it isn't like I am not going to work out. But over the weekend I did do some work on the Trek Madone.
