Sponsorship Information:

What is Team ER? Team ER is a developmental group of multi-sport athletes who train and race together. The goal of Team ER is to promote multi-sport competition, develop and encourage new competitors and represent our sponsors in a professional manner.

Who are the Team members? Team members range in experience from beginners in the sport to elite athletes competing in world championships.  We have even graduated one team member to become a professional triathlete.

Benefits for Sponsors: Our team members (14 for 2008) give our sponsors exposure in several ways:  

• Multi-sport Races  Team members wear the official team uniform while competing in 7 local multi-sport events.
• Official team warm-up and cool-down uniforms give additional exposure while team members talk with other competitors before and after each race.
• Other Races  Team members wear the official team uniform at each race in which they compete.  Most of our team members compete in 15-20 races during the season.  Individual events include swimming, biking, running, orienteering, etc.
• Training Sessions Probably the greatest exposure comes while team members are training.  Our team members train in almost every health facility in the area.  As many team members belong to more than one facility to maximize their training opportunities, this results in increased sponsor exposure.
• Additional exposure comes from training outdoors on the areas road and trails.
• Website  The websites of both Eddy's Bike Shop and Ritchie's Sporting Goods will feature a link to a dedicated Team ER website where our sponsors will be listed.  Area triathletes, visit this site to check on event results.
• At each local race a team banner with sponsor logos will be displayed.  The banner is attached to a pop-up tent where the team gathers before and after each race.
• Depending on the sponsorship level, sponsors will receive the same discounts and special purchase opportunities as team members
